I am a UK artist working primarily with spray paints and hand-cut paper stencils.

I like the depth of colour, and the techniques available to an artist using them.

I like to use spray paints  to 'blend', and make 'fades' as well as being able to paint big areas of flat colour.

I have been known as WallShapes ever since my early days as an artist spray-painting abstract art on to walls.

I have a shop here on my website selling my ready-to-hang art, both spray-painted on to traditional style cradled panels, and also small scale wooden painted cut out shapes that are perfect to collect, and make perfect gifts and so on.

Sorry if an item is out of stock, please check back soon because I'll be busy working on some more stock atm 👍👍

...also please check back from time to time for limited edition drops, new releases and other good stuff!

Many Thanks x WallShapes:)

Below is a little info about my set up...

Art studio in Warwickshire with paint splatters on the floor, various tools, and equipment.🔼(My small workshop and studio (this is in clean mode)).

A group of spray paint cans from above.🔼🔼(Some of my paints.) I love the depth of colour and the techniques available to an artist using spray paints. The colours and finishes can be manipulated and be very intense and jewel like, or very powdery and cloudlike depending on techniques. My style is about building thick layers of high pigment spray paint, and using the sharpness of fresh paper stencils for getting high details.

Colour swatching spray paint cans.Doing colour swatches is important to accurately see the colour of the paint in the cans.🔼🔼(Colour swatching new cans of spray paint.)

Scroll saw set up in the studio.🔼(My workshop, set up for scroll sawing.) My studio workshop is very 'tight' and 'compact' but is also easily convertible and easy to keep clean 👍👍

Handmade wooden crown wall art, pre spray painting, raw wood.🔼(My art in it's rawest form.)

Filling and sanding smooth the crown spray paintings pre painting.Crowns filled and sanded down.
🔼🔼(Hand sanding and preparing the wood.) I like to fill and smooth most of the deeper natural grain in the surfaces of the wood, but also leave some texture to add interest to the painted finish.

Wooden wall art crowns undercoated in Black. Drying on studio floor.🔼(Layering undercoats.) An undercoat is important because it makes the wood surface more uniform and the painting more durable. I use Gesso which I find very adaptable.

Spray painting the reverse of crowns purple.
🔼(Painting the backs.) I like to spray-paint the backs of the paintings different colours and combinations to make each small batch even more individual.
